2007 MAZDA 3 LCD DISPLAY ISSUES

Just wanted to bring you up to date on the issues I have been having with the LCD display above the radio.
After two fresh LCD's under warranty, I was told by Kelowna Motors that the troubles could come from using my electric start.
Apparently, if you press the button more than once consecutively, the display fills with 8's. This is easily fixed by
shutting down and restarting. I have only noticed this error now about 4 times since the new LCD was installed.
I have tried replicating the error - but nothing happened. So not sure about the cause still, but it seems to work 99% of the time.
